Good, inexpensive, filling, comfort food. Salad bar available. Pretty typical Midwestern coffee shop you'd find along the highway. Nice history. Informative bulletin board to let you know what's happening in the area.

My friend and I were able to dine at lunch Christmas Eve before they closed for the day. I had a pancake, eggs, and sausage. And my friend had chili. It was all good.

Omelets are always great. Other breakfast items are good to great. Other meal foods are okay to good. The service is always good to excellent. The atmosphere is quite dated and kitsch. Love the kitsch but not the dated.

My main search was for a tenderloin sandwich like I had as a kid, there was a picture posted on a review and that was it. We were on a quick trip from Wyoming to see family, but were definitely stopping here. Sunday morning rush just ended....one clean table....you step back in time here. Not many of these diners left....Staff was awesome. Salads in the old wooden bowls, actual sugar shakers on the tables.....food was everything we had hoped for.....good old fashioned comfort food!!!
